You know I don't like death!fic, but this one is unlike any I've ever encountered, and I love it.

He flips his viper end over end, exhilarated by weightlessness.

Such a contrast to the sluggish, inert Bill of pre-sexing "Disquiet"! I love how physically and emotionally liberated he is here. You make his death into something genuinely joyful. Even I can get behind that.

Go, me! I got the Queen of Light to like a death!fic.

I'm glad the joy came through. If the afterlife in BSG is a rebirth with all your knowledge and ties intact, why wouldn't death be the most joyous moment of your life? For Bill it would be the ladder scene from Blood on the Scales ramped up 10,000 -- all the joy of regaining your ship, your crew, your lover without having to execute anyone for the privilege.

A happy death fic, who knew they could exist? They do and this drabble is proof.
Also, love the title.

I was afraid the title might be too obscure (like some of my other titles have proven to be). I'm glad you got ti and liked it!

LOL. I will admit to googling more than one of your fic titles and having that 'oh' moment. Got this one though all by myself *Is proud, and a little sad*

Who ever said A/R fic wasn't educational?

Love it!! Such a perfect description for Bill, roaring over to the "otherside" in his viper as it should be. The title is actually one I knew and didn't have to google of yours.Yes I learn a lot hanging around in here. LJ I agree can be very educational. LOL!!

Whoa. Too many people understood the title without googling. Next drabble I'm going to have to be mega-cryptic.

But yes, Laura's all slow and stately ship, but Bill's a roar and a rush and a sudden loss of gravity.

Hey I was so excited this was the first one I knew. It helps that it was the name of a movie.

It is? I don't think it's made it here. Then again, last movie I saw in a theater was Shrek I, so what would I know?

Firstly, I don't understand the title - I'm dumb/ignorant.

I love the images of the 2nd paragraph. And 'her familiar voice calls him home and he obeys' *sigh*

A scientist did an experiment, weighing people as they died, and his conclusion was that a person loses 21 grams at the moment of death. People took that to mean that there is a soul and that it has actual physical weight.

And you pointed out one of my favorite lines -- because she is his home as much as he is hers, right?

Yeah, kastari explained to her ignorant friend. I do like these people's conclusions, about the soul.
