Since I watched the great "Challengers of the Unknown" video made for the AdamaRoslin Christmas Secret Santa, I've been obsessing about The New Pornographers. And since I've been obsessing about them, I've been obsessing about the song "Mutiny, I Promise You" and Tom Zarek.

I'm so proud of you. This is epic.

I'm chiefly accustomed to smoldering glances and dramatic poses in fanvids, not guns, violence, and treachery. This feels very new to me.

It amazes me sometimes how many fanvids are light and romantic (in both the capitalized and uncapped sense of the word) give how dark BSG is.

Yes, a lot of 'romantic' fan vids out there. I find the edginess of this very exciting. It's different, unique, outside-the-box. I love refrain Here's the mutiny I promised you. And here's the party it turned into.

you're video is wicked. especially given the fact that you picked one of my absolute favorite songs. and i am all about the action, guns, and violence (and romance smatterings) well done first video!

I've never heard of this group before, but the song is definitely catchy. Going to have to check them out some more.
