"Well, one day you're there, and then all of a sudden, there's less of you, and you wonder where that part went, if it's living somewhere outside of you, and you keep thinking maybe you'll get it back, and then you realize it's just gone."
- Peggy, Mad Men
Like Kara, this is one character that I find it very difficult to find a way to properly send her off. She's just so Godsdammed frakking amazing.
There are a few things that we have learned about Laura Roslin that will stay with us.
We will remember her amazing transformation from the Secretary of Education to Dictator/Madam President.
We will remember her pragmatism; her capacity for making the hard decisions whether right or wrong.
We will remember she gets the giggles before debates and that Ellen Tigh annoys her terribly.
We will remember her relationships with the Adama boys.
We will remember how she loved Gauis Baltar.
We will remember her love for the fleet and her total devotion towards getting them home.
We will remember how badass she was.
Goodbye, Laura Roslin.
