you got to know you have my heart...
a lot has been goin on since i last updated this journal. i guess i will start by telling you about my vacation to south carolina. it was pretty fun. i got to skimboard everyday and eat lots of food. this hotel on the beach has awesome pina coladas, so i also got some of those. the 13 hour ride there wasn't so bad, but the ride home sucked bc i was pretty much sick of my family by then.i missed my boyfriend a lot and that sucked too but i got to see him once i got back =)
wednesday i went surfing with my brother. it was raining, but we decided to go anyway. the waves were HUGE, like 6-7ft high and very rough. my brother walked out as far as he could before getting onto his board to paddle out, and as he was walking, he kicked something that he said felt huge and very tough. he thought it was a shark and told me to get out of the water. so we were going to go home bc the waves were really rough and my brother thought he kicked a shark, but then the waves seemed to die down a bit so we went back out. it took us about 10min just to get out passed the breaking waves, it sucked. about 5 min later, a fricken shark fin comes up above the water about 3ft from me and swims right in front of me. so of course i freaked out and rode a wave in and yelled to my brother to get his ass on the beach. then my brother and i were looking out at the water once we got out to see if we could see the shark again, and my brother saw one in a wave that was just about to curl and he said it looked about 5ft long and for all of u who know me, i'm only 4'11 haha so it was definitely bigger than me, which wan't cool. it was the scariest thing that has ever happened to me and having watched shark week on the discover channel didn't help ease the situation one bit haha.
thursday, i went to Hershey Park with steve, my family, and a couple other people. the first thing we went on was the Sooper Dooper Looper, it was steve's first time being on a REAL rollercoaster haha. we also went on the Great Bear which was awesome, and the log flume, which we got completely soaked on, i mean drenched! we also got some smoothies, which weren't even close to being as good as the ones we make haha. we saved the craziest rollercoaster last, the Storm Rider...it goes from 0-75MPH in 2 seconds!! we went on it once it got dark and it was the craziest/sweetest ride i've ever been on. i was surprised steve went on it with me, but im really glad that he did <3!
the next day, we went to the beach to skimboard, and that's always fun =) im getting better at my shovets, i can actually pull them off now. that night we went to my dad's for dinner and ate lots of food, made milkshakes, and watched suicide kings...good movie!
tomorrow i have to go back to work and im really not looking forward to that at all =( only 2 more weeks left, thank god!
