Bartending

So I have a bartending class Monday through Thursday this week and next week. After that I should have a job shortly following. Keep your fingers crossed for me.

Aww man- I always wanted to get certified in that. Just timing/money never worked out quite right.

The class is pretty kick ass. He showed us the finer points of pouring (accuracy without measuring stuff like that) and basic bar setup yesterday. Today is martinis and something else (we went a little ahead of the daily course outline cause there was 2 of us).

In the end I get Servesafe for alcohol and they do job placement.

www.newenglandbartendingschools.com so far I have taken one class (about to leave for my second) and I love it. The instructor makes it fun and interesting, plus the school offers free recerts and all kinds of other programs. If you are going to go to a school this offers the most bang for your buck.

I'm very happy it's going well. I looked into this school as well. Let me know how job placement goes, as that is a big thing for me right now.
