Hey peeps...I just saw Rent.
I know I'm late, but hey better late than never.
Quality, some songs are good, but not all. I liked it, but the movie seems to drag on toward the end when maureen and joanne breakup. Then it reinvigorates again later, and it's a pleasre to watch.
If I was to be any character I would be angel..because A)I'm black; B) I drum...albeit horribly though, lol; and C) I'm a drag queen by night too (j/k).
Anyways, I hope to be in the next productions of drama.
I'm sorry I couldn't be in Cabaret, but I don't regret it.
I helped the production however I could, I painted, did lights, turned pages for the pianist, brought up crap from the dumpster to use for the set, lol.
Well this was a completely random bulletin...but hey I never post any so shut up.
I also came from dolhpin right now, I never go to dolhpin any more. I played some DDR, wow...after MaxX Unlimited, Dropout, and Healing Vision Angelic Mix...I was wiped. That's wat happens when u dont play for months.
I also realized they have a broadway musicals section, for piano, in Sam Ash. I spent some time there looking through them..I even played some Rent and Forum.
Afterwards I purchased another Michael Crichton novel. He's become my favorite author...the way he rights about his subjects really take you into the stories. They are very scientifically done, and seem realistic, as fiction as they are.
The book I bought was Jurassic Park. I also have Prey and Sphere. Prey and Sphere were great...some of my favorites, and then I realized he wrote Jurassic Park, and im like damn..gotta get it. I can tell I'm going to get alot more insight than the movie provided on DNA and cloning.
Now I'm here, and tonight im going to celebrate my brithday (finally) as I'm going to dine out in Olive Garden, my favorite restaurant. I love Italian, with it's variety of textures, temperatures. cheeses, breads, and my favorite salads.
I'm done ranting. I hope to rant perhaps once a week or month (whichever comes first).
Half of this will be in my journal.

Coral Park Drumline!
Im gonna take this time to say that I think the drumline is getting 100x better, and we are gonna win every competition out there. Sometimes u can just feel the vibe, when ppl are all giving it their best. Rather than having our rolls clean 5%(if any) of the time..now theyre clean 30% of the time, with is a big improvement.

Caring/Minding/Regarding
Some times I don't think I care much about anything. I don't know the reason I do things. I guess I just never try to process most things I am doing. Why do I do what I do? Why am I in marching band? Why do I act?
I feel like im ignorant. I trust destiny a little too much time, that it may seem like I don't mind anything. If I feel somethign is going wrong, I dont worry. While others are looking anxious, nervous, or excited I look relaxed with a plain look on my face.
It' not that I dont care so much about things, I just know that I cannot alter what has already happened, or change what will occur. I can only control what happens now.
If I was told that I was kicked out of school, I may look like I dont care. If I was kicked out of marching band, just sent home one day, I wouldn't regard it anymore...
Am I strange?

Destiny!
Destiny's cool. As long as ure on it's track and LETTING the train move...things happen. Destiny makes life exciting. My life is exciting....
Gisell's Drum Captain! Thats great! shes gonna do a great job. Now I can be the slacker that I usually am, without having to call everyone every five secs. and shit. well...i still have to take care of the upper battrey. fuck.
and Rene isnt band captain. That truly sux. I wanted him to get it soooo bad..

Hmm
Success is trying youre best to TRY to get to 100% of ure ability...even though its impposibble, the important thing is TRYING to be perfect.
Therefore failure is NOT doing ure best. A mistake is not a fault...it is an opportunity to improve.
Like I said...the musical was a success, becuase even though there were alot of mistakes I know that I will learn and improbe. I gave it my best BOTH nights, even though I was not in much of a mood Friday. However...I gave it my best. It was a success

wtf. Thats not me.
Apparantly i was hot/cute today.
I was told by about 5 ppl today that i looked either cute or hot. I dont remmber all the ppl, I just remmber a few.
First was when I was in the drama room during career fair. Some random girl comes into the room and sits behind me. I was sitting there just chillin next to lily. She peers over in front of me and says, "You're Cute."...
At first I thought she was jokin, because im still fugly inside...but she wasnt laughing. She just went back to wat she was doing.
I remember some girl putting a post-it on me, it said "I'm Hot".
During drama practice I was called hot by several courtasens, who said "they'd tap that" lookin at me.
I also remember Elaine saying i looked cute after band practice, when Aimee was talking about me.
Today was a funny day. I remember Elaine saying that my goatee looked good, so...that musta been the secret.
The show is next week, and its finally coming together. I really hope I pull it off...
Oh and some girl from the salsa team called me an inpiration on the piano, when i was playing on day.
Lastly, the last thing im gonna say is that Jessie told me that Mr. V said something very nice about me, when i wasnt there,. He had said that "The only person who he thinks has a big chance of making it out there is Omar. and that to Omar it comes natural".
i dunno. Im lost. I dunno how to get anywhere in life

Well today...school starts after spring break again. Luckily us band geeks went on a FIELD TRIP! say it like this..."FIELD TRIP!!!". No!!! ure not sayin it right!!
w/e.
so, we went to recruit middle schoolers. Today we went to Ruben and Paul Bell. Good shit. Nobodys gonna join.
At least we're getting a new band room in the new building that is opening October.
And next week on the 7th. (thurs). The band is officially gonna start rehearsing. I cant wait to see the hard fuckin show we're gonna get...Mr. Llinas says its gonna be difficult as shit.
And I really hope this drama musical comes through...the show is in like 3 weeks...Im praying man...it better come together
