I'm back
I had a good time. I went down to Charleston with my Dad...he's still saying things just to be argumentative and wierd basically.
Bah, I don't care. I just say whatever.
But I got to spend a good bit of time with my friends Joey and Pricilla. It was great seeing them again and spending time with them again. It's been forever since I've spent that much time with Pricilla. We went out to eat on thursday and last night after doing stuff in Charleston(i.e. seeing all the HOT girls, good gosh-you white girls are gonna have to stop!! lol) I went back over to Joey and Pricilla's. Our friends Derrick and Jon were there as well. So I felt like I was back in my sophomore year. I really love those guys.
Well we went to see One Hour Photo last night. Good flick...not the great movie...but Robin Williams is good in it. The lady that played the mom and her son were good. And Eriq LaSalle is a good actor. But that's not the high point of last night.
I'm standing in line, waiting to buy my ticket. When I get up there to ask the girl for the ticket Jon walks up, looks at her nametag and says
"Hey, nicole, this is Jason."
She just sorta smiles like she's thinking "Ooookay" and he then says
"when we were in line Jason was saying 'Man, that girl behind the counter is really pretty."
Of course all I can do is nod and grin cause what am I gonna say "I DIDN'T SAY THAT!!! NO NO NO! I NEVER SAID YOU WERE ATTRACTIVE!!" For one thing, she was attractive, secondly(and more importantly) it would just be mean. So he walks away and I apologize for him being crazy then I make some comment like "You know how white guys are" just being silly with her.
Then before she gives me the receipt she flips it over and puts her name and number on the back.
Well isn't that just dumb luck?? lol. Definitely helps the self-esteem when I a) don't have to go through the anxiety of asking the girl for her number and b) GET THE NUMBER...lol
Speaking of girls, Denise called when I was gone, Matt. Maybe I still have a shot at getting to know Lovely Rita. And I still haven't had any correspondence of any sort with Heather since I wrote that possibly ill-advised email.
Eh, what are you gonna do. It's done, no point in worrying.
I will call her later tonight though.
