Why should anyone force themselves to mourn? What do you have to mourn for. I really think America should take this day back. We shouldn't give it to them. It's not theirs. Screw them. It's our day. We should take it back with happiness that we still live and that this world isn't as cruel as it may seem. We should be happy that we're moving on. We should be happy that we had those people in our lives for the time that we did.
You're right, too much exploitation for ratings or whatever.
I just saw a great commercial. They were showing houses on an american street. It could be anywhere in America. A voice-over comes in and says "On September 11th terrorists tried to change this country forever"
fades to black...comes back with a shot of the same street...only every single house has an american flag on it...voice-over "they succeded."
It made me smile. Though a lot of people are showing fake patriotism while waving a flag. The commercial still symbolizes the people that really love this country and more importantly...the people in it.

YOu know...that commecial is the right way to go about it. But it still sucks that the media is making it so completely public. Anyway...Sorry about the typo. In all honesty....I don't know how to spell the word in question. *sigh* I guess I should go sulk now.....*hangs head in shame*

Just kidding.
