i didn't go to school today because cal's grampa nixon passed away. it kinda took me by suprise because he's one of those ppl that it never crosses your mind that could possibly die one day. he was 87 and lived a great life and had an awesome family which somehow makes you feel better about the whole situation. but my mom grew up at his ranch and has always told me stories about things that happened there, and i just feel honored to have known a person such as "big al".
so i stayed with cal last night to keep her and lacey company. i love my family and i like how close we are. like who else do you know that every single one of their best friends is their cousins. for some reason i feel lucky, very lucky. and im also beginning to understand how lucky i am to have grown up in mountain view.
but anyways. on to other things.
