I serve some responses merely for conversation. I enjoy reading this type of stuff either way, and then talking about it.

Revenge is a dish best served cold. The trick is only know when to eat it, and when to skip it like a fatty desert.

" It only takes 20 years for a liberal to become a conservative without changing a single idea. "
I'm wary of judging anyone who happens to have values which are different from the ones that I was brought up upon. To my experience, it is most young people who are liberals who couldn't back themselves up in an argument. Being a conservative doesn't mean you're anti-womans rights, and conversely, being a liberal does not mean you own more then 4 articles of clothing that are hemp. I'm not sure how you're going to ask someone to back themselves up if political standpoints aren't an issue.
Either way, I work (knowing I could never completely be) an independent in the purist form of the word. Though it's been said that there is no objective audience. Only subjects.
Though, I know I would argue on behalf of a Republican standpoint, because I enjoy making people see the other side of things, and inversely people making me see the same. (helps me reaffirm or re-asses beliefs and why I believe in them)
Politicians, whether Liberal, or Conservative unfortunately are two sides of the same evil.
To # 15, Don't hang out with my grandpa.
To # 4,
Having a PhD does not imply that you will be rich or intelligent in the full Renaissance concept of intelligence. There is no sure fire way for anything when it comes to life. My opinion, success isn't a destination, it's a journey you walk until you stop breathing. Success, like political views, is relative.
