Who knew four days could bring so many ups and downs?
not me.
I guess thats the beauty and down fall in life.
I saw Sonny!
Even though we were in prison, we were still in our own world, laughing until we cried...cause you know thats what Sonny does best.
Meghan and I got in a fight, (yet again) I realized today, that we haven't fought so much in the 11 years of our friendship as we have in the last year. hm, I wonder why? We won't be friends again until she's clean. I won't be taking anymore abuse from anyone. regardless.
Jamie and Jenn saved my life, they were the first people I met in that town 14 years ago, and they are sure to be the last. I can count on one hand how many times we've fought in all these years, they have and always will be there for me, and they laugh at all my jokes!
A friend is someone who is ALWAYS there for you,they will drop everything to be there for you, even when it's not benefiting them, or their lives. They love you unconditionally for who you are,and for enriching their lives, they share, they are ears that listen, they are a shoulder to cry on, They don't judge you, they support you, and your decisions, and let you know if you've made a bad one, they will stick up for you, fight for you, even die for you. They make you happy way more than sad, you have a mutual understanding, love, and respect. You can have fun, doing nothing, cause it's not what you're doing, it's who your with. And above all else, they are honest with you. every fucking word.
I am lucky enough to have a small handful of people who fit this mold.
And I'd like to think that I am a damn good friend myself, are you?
