No entries for the next two days or so... I'm heading up island and don't plan on taking my laptop with me, and embedding entries from the mobile site on my phone seems a little too much work.
Day 16 - A song that you used to love but now hate
Ok. I'm skipping this one. Or not so much skipping as reversing it. I've already had to post a song I hate and a song from a band I hate - I am out of music that I hate. If it wasn't LOVE to hate, and rather just "somewhat enjoy" I could maybe do this. But even then I'm finding it hard. So I'm switching it around, and perhaps not from HATE to love [because even that is damn hard] I'm going to do "was completely neutral about but now love".
For the first number of times [ie: probably a year] I heard this song I was always so "meh" about the beginning of it until the 3:20 mark where it just kicks in and BAM! I'm totally digging it. Finally though, after I don't even know how many listens, I adore this entire song. The gradual build up, sort of sleepy and meandering, and then it's like SUNRISE!!! THE LIGHT IS HERE!! BLAMMO! This is a favourite for highway driving and singing at the top of my lungs.
