Day 11 - A song from your favorite band
This was hard as I never have really pegged just ONE band as my favourite. U2 is definitely one of my most enjoyed bands with some longevity [not like "Oh I LOVE this band" and then two years later you never listen to them anymore]. Coldplay is probably up there, too, as I usually adore everything they put out. But I think I have to give this one to Mr Dave Matthews. I first fell in love with the song "Crash Into Me" when it was first released for radio play in 1996 or 1997. But I never really followed up on it, until grade eleven when a girl I was in Outdoor School with re-introduced me to DMB. And it just sort of snowballed from there. One of my favourite albums of all time is Dave's Live at Luther College with Tim Reynolds. That being said though, the album Crash is simply a classic.
This has always been my favourite DMB song and it never fails to make me smile. And I chose to post a live version because I think it captures the beauty of this song just a wee bit more.
