I'm all I've got.

I have all the responsibilites of a single, working mother and NONE of the perks. Take a look at my day:

Get up in the morning, get ready for class, clean up my tea that spilled everywhere out of my coffee pot, catch the bus.
Go to class for a couple hours. Get completely loaded down with homework.
Take the bus home, throw together a presentation for Spanish tomorrow morning.
Get gas in my car, drive to the grocery store for hamburger.
Come home, get dressed for the gym, pick up Mallory and head to Target, Payless Shoes, and of course, my home away from home, 24Hr.
Work my bum clean off at the gym, lift weights, ab class, hot date with the treadmill.
Come home, get dinner started, put in oven for an hour.
Take a shower.
Finish homework.
Eat dinner.
Get books ready for class tomorrow.
Read my Bible, read my book.
Curl up in my bed.

Tomorrow, rinse and repeat. Oh but add work from 6-10pm.

So like I said, all the burdens, no perks. (Perks= sex and cute little baby boys)

In other news, I'm pretty sure I'm in love with The Fray. And I'm embarassed to admit that my dad, David, introduced me to this band... well, I guess I'm 50% embarassed and 50% proud of my Pa... I'm sure my good music habits rubbed off on him and that is why he listens to decent music now. :) Haha..

Vienna
The day's last one-way ticket train pulls in
We smile for the casual closure capturing
There goes the downpour
Here goes my fare thee well

There's really no way to reach me
'Cause I'm already gone

Only so many words that we can say
Spoken upon long-distance melody
This is my hello
This is my goodness

There's really no way to reach me
'Cause I'm already gone

Maybe in five or ten
Yours and mine will meet again
Straighten this whole thing out
Maybe then honesty need not be feared as a friend or an enemy
This is the distance
And this is my game face

There's really no way to reach me
Is there really no way to reach me?
Am I already...

So this is your maverick
This is Vienna
