Okay, there was an anonymous request for a tutorial on the Eowyn/Aragorn icon I posted a few days ago, so here ya go. Hope it helps someone :)

From this:
to this:

All right, so we begin with the necessary finding of the pictures. :) I found the Eowyn one here, and the Aragorn one here. I started with the Eowyn one, flipped it, and cropped it down.

Then I duplicated the layer three times. The layer above the background (original base image) is set to Screen. The next above it is also set to Screen, and the final layer to Overlay. Then I flattened it (yes, this is necessary for later).

I then added the Aragorn image and scaled it down so that there was a little space at the top (see below, you can see a little bit of Eowyn's head in a bar at the top) and placed Aragorn himself toward the corner.

Then I duplicated the Eowyn layer and moved it above the Aragorn layer, erasing the area where Aragorn was and the a little further down in the right corner (with the eraser around 40% opacity the whole time, by the way...helps so that you don't erase to much and makes it blend really well) because I discovered the lines in the Aragorn image made a rather good natural brush effect :)

Then I added this texture by disappearicons:

And set it to Color Burn, with the opacity at 50%.

I wanted the color to play in a little more, so I duplicated the texture layer, moved the Opacity back to 100%, and set the layer to Darken.

That's the icon part. For the text, I chose a line from The Merchant of Venice, put the top text in Arial Black, size 6 pt., color solid black (#000000) and set it to Overlay. Oh, and this is a style preference, but I always tend to put a space between each letter, and have done so here.

The bottom text is Dali (found at daFont.com), with a space between each letter again, color solid white (#FFFFFF), size 18 pt., and set that also to Overlay.

And there you have it! Let me know if you have any further questions :)
