does anyone here know the constellation cassiopeia? When the sky is clear, you'd see it. Its a constellation that forms the letter 'M'. hehe. I know what you're thinking, and its only half the reason why I like it. naaaddict nko sa ganda nya. As I said, when the sky is clear, you'd see it... And the stars that make up the corners of the letter are brighter than the others that form it. Its so beautiful I can stare at it for hours.. or until clouds come to block it from view.
When I saw the complete constellation, I was with my friend regine. We've been friends since forever. Before, I'd spend my breaks from school in Batangas and then we'd play all day long, everyday. malamang ngaun, d na kami naglalaro. I just go to their house and watch dvds all day and then at the end of the marathon, we'd talk about things. The last time we were together, we just stared at cassiopeia (well, I know I was)while sitting at a hump in the road and talking about stuff.. we stayed there till around midnight.. when we felt cold and went inside her house to talk some more until I felt like going home.. which is when the sun finally comes up and I'm completely stuffed.
In the next months, we would have to vacate our house there in batangas and transfer outside that village. My tito bought a house just outside the community our ancestral house is and the family decided to reside there, since its more legal to stay there. (I dont get that part either.) In short, the next time I'd go to the province, I wont be seeing Regine anymore. no more talks till dawn. no more staring at the sky. no more free food. no more memories.
In three years, regine would be the one whose going to leave the place, and by that time, I wouldn't know where to locate her anymore. Her phone's not stable since she keeps on buying then selling them. She doesn't have a blog nor does she regularly sheck her mail and friendster account.
I'm sure gonna damn miss her. I mean who among you friends would be willing to sit with you on dirty humps on uneven roads, staring at the sky and talking about nonsense things till midnight?
I mean... c'mon.
