School is lame.

Friday the 13th. CREEPY!

First day of junior year started today. Woohoo, rock on c/o 06! 8-)
I'm not quite sure what to make of the year so far.
When I woke up this morning it felt like I never had a summer because getting up, getting dressed, and everything else feels so routine and familiar that I didn't really think anything of it. The ride to school is cool just because I drive Meli and Ren.. my gurls. The new principal seems like he could be cool but could be another Morgan, who knows. Maybe he was just trying to seem all hardass today. My teachers don't seem too terrible. The classes are going to be hard but the social aspect of this year will be awesome. I'm getting more involved this year. I'm on the yearbook staff which I think will be loads of fun and I definitely want to be in Yearbook II next year so I can be on the editorial staff and have more authority. Every now and then I'm going to stay after school on Monday's to do banner painting. I'm going to be in Foreign Language Club since I'm in Spanish III this year and I think I'm going to join Renee in Environmental Club..ahah. Juniors also get to decorate and plan for the Sadie Hawkins Dance that I WILL attend this year since I haven't the past two, for some odd reason.[Am I not the dancing queen!?] We also get to help with prom and homecoming. I'm definitely excited and skeptical about this year but I'll be a warrior and stick it out. Besides, Melissa's my work buddy because she's in 3 of my classes and after she gets a schedule change, I'm sure she'll be in more. Hm. That's it for school. Oh, and the parking lot is incredibly ridiculous. I wonder when we get parking permits?

Bailey called from New York City today, twice. The first time she forgot I was in school and was just letting me know that she had just bought me a present. :) I love her and I miss her dearly. She'll be ecstatic to know that everyone loves my hair cut and colors, probably more than I do. The second time she called to say she was outside the TRL studios and to turn on the TV in case I could see her. Fun stuff. I want to go to New York....     Oh cousin Daaaavvviiiidddd....

I stopped by Catching Rays today to drop off my application and talked to Mrs. Pam, the owner of the place. She's really nice and seems to like me. Her daughter played soccer on my rival team for MSC, the Wolves, so she's seen me around and knows my mother as the woman that works at Bed Bath and Beyond and such. I think she understands that I play soccer and will have practices and games. I hope she hires me. Kangas needs to put in lots of good words about me!

Tomorrow is the Usher concert! Woot woot. Meli and me are excited, yes indeed. I wish my parents would let me drive there. Melissa and I wanted to leave early to go shop and then stay the night in Chalmette and come home Sunday when we woke up. But noooope, my parents so don't trust me yet. Gah.

So long for now.
P.S. Most depressing part of the school day: *between classes out of nowhere Beth Schoenburger stops me* Beth: Hey, Ashley. How was California? Me: I never got to go... KILL ME. sheesh. Funniest part: *walking to class and Lauren Ainsworth is beside me and jumps back upon noticing it was I walking alongside her and says "Whoa! Your hair is awesome. I didn't even recognize you. I really like it!" -She was just so shocked that it was funny.
