I'm on Christmas Break. Woo!
Really, it's not "Woo!" though. While I am at school, Joanna & Katie are my constant companions. They're there when I wake up and they're there when I go to bed.
Here, when I wake up I am all alone. I am bored. I suppose I could attempt to do something productive, but really, I don't feel like it.
The one positive thing about Christmas break is that it means the Fall 2006 semester is officially over with. Thank God!
Next semester should be better. I am only taking four classes because five-six classes was feeling like a bit much. So I am taking: Freedom of Speech, Human Communication & the Aging Process, Interpersonal Communication, and Nonverbal Communication.
I am quite excited about the Freedom of Speech course. Yes, I think the content will be interesting, but I am more excited about taking it with Dr. Hunt. I had him two semesters ago for Communication & Social Issues. I have the biggest crush on him. So he's married with two kids, I can still stare at him.
Nonverbal and Interpersonal Communication should be interesting. I am not looking forward to the Human Communication & the Aging Process course, so we'll see how that goes.
I am also taking an online course through MVCC. It's just a plain old Business 100 course. I figure that I can work on my Meeting Planning certificate while I am at ISU. That way, there will be less classes for me to take at MVCC when I graduate from ISU.
I am quite excited for Christmas.
I am almost done with my Christmas shopping. I just need to buy my brother some beer and I'm all set. I get the worst anxiety when giving people gifts. I pace around stores and ask Brian a lot of questions. I think he gets frustrated with me sometimes. But hey, I am not a grab and buy kind of girl. I need to think things over when shopping.
Anyhow, I am going to go lay down and try to take a nap. Later days!
