Another disgusting roach story

This morning as I was listening to the radio and waiting for my tea to steep (I let it steep a loooooong time, usually - I love it dark and probably like the tannins, which some might try to avoid...), I decided to clean the countertops. I managed to skip to the last three paragraphs this time. Hopefully someone will post again soon to move something else to the top of my page.

In the same vein, you don't have to actually finish The Thorn Birds (unless you've heard that the ending is worth the wait or something). Do you?

You're right re: my finishing TTB. I usually don't force myself to finish books. But this one isn't *bad*. It's just not all that *good*. And I have seen it around since I was, like, two, so I felt I needed to read it.

Yes, but now I've finished the book, and am moving on, with another lesson under my belt :-)

I did like the ending, I'll say that. So it wasn't all for naught.
