My feet no longer love me, we've queued, walked and queued some more. Of the 3 panels we wanted to see, we got into 2 of them.
A am currently ensconced in a beanbag in the handheld area, resting my poor weary feet.
Everything has a queue. There is a queue for the atm longer than the usual nightly myki queues at Flinders Street. Queues for various food stalls are almost as long as the panels queues, that is to say at least 30 minutes.
trying to decide if we want to stick around for the concert tonight.
The beyond D&D panel was awesome, there was a bunch of indie games to check out:
Inspectres
Prime Time Adventures
Freemarket
A Thousand and One NIghts
Dread
Shock: Social Science Fiction
Shock: Human Nature
Mouse Guard
The Burning Wheel
King Arthur Pendragon
Lady Blackbird
Dogs in the Vinyard
The Classic Dungeons and Dragons
Torchbearer
Action Castle
Most of the games had novel mechanics that focus gameplay on characterisation rather than conflict mechanics. We look forward to checking a number of these out.
