Yes, he seems rather taken with the spot, doesn't he? *He reaches up to rub behind the cat's ear.* Though he's proven himself quite opposed to being carried in any other way.

...Why do you have a cat?

You could say I'm rather fond of the beasts. This one just happened to catch my attention. *Apparently bored of being scratched behind the ear, the cat shakes its head and jumps down.*

Contrary little creatures, aren't they?

[She watches it as it jumps down, then turns her attention back to Albedo.]

*The cat meows again and paws at Theta's leg, prompting a chuckle and a smirk from Albedo.* Cats are rarely inclined to take orders, my dear.

[She reaches down and pushes it gently away.]

We'll make a home in your universe, at any rate. In the mean time... Does this pest have a name? [Not as harsh as she wanted to sound.]

*The cat meows in objection and wanders back to bump its head against Albedo's leg.* I believe I'll call it the same thing as my old pet. Gaignun.

Familiar with the legend of Roland, my dear? *He bends down to pet Gaignun's head.*

Vaguely. Not entirely. But I knew it had to have -some- significance for you to name a pet that.

It's simply one of the first legends from Lost Jerusalem Rubedo, Nigredo and I managed to learn about. *Technically, he's not really lying, since that is what the original Gaignun was named after.*

Mm? Have something against them?

Not particularly. Just... Couldn't it have been a lizard or a snake or a spider? ...Something cute?
