I just got older
So yesterday was my Birthday.
I've decided something. I am never going to work on my birthday again. It was an all around horrible day up until 9:00 when
athena_51 braved the horrible roads to pick me up from work then it got better.
We went to visit
cagewench, Jay and their lovely child Torin (the mullet boy *giggle*). A little time with the Sparks family was enough to relieve me of my sour mood from the day. Then we Journeyed to East Side Mario's for some drinks. Yum beer!
When I got home I was greeted by a barrage of phone messages and e-mails wishing me a happy birthday. Thanks to every one that took a moment to do that it was really nice and it's what I really wanted for my birthday anyway. I'm not too big into giving or receiving presents.
Although I did get a great gift from my father: proof that he has a sense of humour. He sent me a card that said "Happy birthday to someone who's every bit as cool as 'The Fonz'... During the final season. Remember? He was living with the Cunninghams. He had an 'office' in a men's room. And wore his leather jacket to the beach. Yep r-e-eal Cool."
I probably would wear my leather to the beach. LOL!
