To the tune of "Norwegian Wood":

I once had a girl or should I say she flew my way
I said she was cute, she had these voids of empty time.

She said "Call me" as she closed the door behind my back.
I missed the turn on the freeway, with my head in the clouds.

She lives a white blank, nothing but choice, wearing no hats.
She wants her own house with a yard full of cats.

We spent a month on my credit card chasing a dream
She held to a line always the same time before she had to run.

She called on the phone: "I need some time to work on my head."
She wants her own house with a big yard and space for her cats.

Someday I'll write a real song. The feelings-sorting-out needs to come first, and I haven't had the chance yet. Too much to do and not enough time to feel. Not now, not now.
