Happy New Year's, everybody!

I'm a little late in wishing you all a happy new year. I guess it's better late than never, though. I hope your holidays were filled with lots of love, joy and cheer. I hope you got lots of goodies and rang in the new year with loved ones. I just want to know one thing: where did 2006 go? I mean, I looked and poof! it was gone. It wasn't the greatest year, but it had its moments. I have it on good authority that 2007 is going to be the best year yet! It's full of possibilities and has great potential. Even though, I have no special guy or job and absolutely no prospects, I intend to stay optimistic. I encourage you guys to do the same. Think about it. It's the chance to have a fresh start, to wipe the slate clean, to ponder the meaning of life, etc...

My Christmas was nice even though I was sick for most of it. We had a nice little tree so our little darlings wouldn't get into it and take the ornaments off of it. I got a little tree at work for getting the biggest order of the week. I ended up picking out a little snowman tree. He's so cute! I'd describe him but I'm sure it wouldn't do him justice. He's real, though. I water him and in the spring, I can plant him. He'll grow into an over 8 foot tree. Whew! Just think, someday I'll be looking up at him. Ahhh, how proud I'll be of him.

As for the gifts, my mom gave me a really cute jacket! It's No Boundaries and has lots of zippers, buttons and a faux fur collar. It keeps me snuggly warm which is a good thing since we've had a cold front from Alaska. Brrrr....She also gave me a long-sleeved pink tee, blue empire blouse, brown fur sweater w/ a belt, gold hoops, a nail set from the mall that uses products from the dead sea with a lavender scent and black suede gloves. My friend gave me a really great necklace w/ different chains, all gold and blue and black and a black velvet jewelry case. I was a good girl this year, lol.

My New Year's was pretty good, too. I don't usually make resolutions (I think they're basically futile and put a lot of pressure on people to do something they basically don't want to do) but this time I made a resolution to post more on LJ. Poor LJ feels so neglected. *pats*
I miss keeping up with what's going on and reading about your exciting endeavors. I'm also going to comment more. I may as well go all out, right? Right. So there you have it.

One more thing....Rain, rain go away....All it did today was rain, rain and rain some more. I'm over it, now. I also would like to get some new music so if you have any suggestions, please send them my way. I like a variety and am willing to try most things once. Lots of hugs. Here's to a fabulous 2007!
