Yeah, it was really cool. I remember talking to Harley (my voice prof) about an aria I wanted to sing, but I wasn't sure if I had the range for it. He groaned, and said, 'Please don't say you want to sing "Queen of the Night."' I gasped in utter horror. Oh, holy crap, no! Just that one from La Boheme, I managed to stutter. He was so relieved. 'Yes, I think you can do that.' And I did. And rather creditably. I could never do an entire opera, though. Wow, that took a lot of energy, just for the one recital - 4 art songs, a jazz number, and two arias (one was a duet from Don Giovanni). Yikes. But I only forgot the words for a moment on one of the German songs. 'Du Bist Die Ruh,' I believe. Schubert. Or someone German, anyway. It was fun. And I didn't trip over myself entering or leaving the stage, an accomplishment in itself.
Ah, but specificity is the key. I was on the water in a boat on the Tasman Sea. And while I did light myself on fire, I was not burned. And there's that black eye that was a direct result of the fire....
Hmm...What an interesting list. I'm not sure I can top it. I sure haven't done any of those things. I'll think of some strange stuff and post it on my journal. Hmm...
But I'd really love to hear the tape of you singing Mimi's aria. ...Okay and I have to know how you managed to light yourself on fire. And how you managed not to get burned? Do tell.

I think we would be dangerous but fun travel companions. (If you've seen my version of this meme, you'll see why.)
