May is moving right along. (Dugga-dun, dugga-dun) It’s the mid-point already, and we’re rapidly approaching the point of being actually all the way finished with all the choreography for ALL the dances. We’re so very, very close. (Some of them have been finished for awhile, but those over-achievers are just showing off.) There are just over two weeks until the performances, and it’s getting very rehearsally up in here. Which reminds me, I have to schedule another rehearsal. Oy. I have been collecting costumes for things, and I can tell you one awesome piece - red and black striped parasol. Come on, you want to see me in a costume that uses that, right?
In all seriousness, if you are local and don’t make it to this show, you are missing out. We are FABULOUS, you guys. Not just because I say so, but because we really, truly are fabulous. And this show sells out, so GIT YUR TICKETS if you want to go.
http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/675317 In other May news, I await info on copy edits of A Ragged Magic, and also cover edits, and um, stuff. I am supposed to ask authors I know personally for cover blurbs. I haven’t done it because it’s super-intimidating, even with people I know. But I’m doing it this weekend. Oy. Fabulous Editor Jak ™ is going to ask authors I don’t know on my behalf. Hopefully some people will say yes, and then both read and like the book. So much Oy.
This is the state of my May - rehearsals, getting costumes together, stressing about book stuff. Come on and dance the night away!
