You could meet me here instead for a different kind of proper if you wanted to. Since I know you'll say no, though, I'll meet you on deck soon and you can see for yourself what the people here tell me I have to wear.
[Hayley arrived on deck not long after her parting words, feeling uncomfortable but enjoying the parasol that she could swing around without drawing peculiar looks. She wore a white dress of military styling on top, but which hung in two simple layers at the bottom. The high neck fit her perfectly, thanks to the tailoring of wealth, and the dress wasn't terrible on her even though she hated it. There was no hat, her longer hair pulled back into ringlets. She spotted Tim almost immediately and couldn't help smiling a little.]
"Excuse me, sir. I'm looking for my friend, Timothy. Perhaps you've seen him." [She teased.]
I don't know. I hope not. I'm... going to try to talk to the captain. Someone. Anyone who will listen about the iceberg.
