пятнадцать part two: more shame and bleeding.

To anyone who was hurt - in a sense, I owe you an apology as much as anyone who inflicted those injuries. Which, I will say, is not so much. It's hard to hold someone responsible for decisions they did not make and would not have made if they were of their own sound mind.

But that man, who I was... inhabiting, shall we say, was an ineffectual governor and a coward. [Judgemental? Maxim? No.] He meant well, I am sure of that, but he let personal judgement get in his way, let his temper get the better of him, and lost sight of longer term goals under pressure.

I don't consider him anything like me. Therefore, I cannot consider anyone else anything like themselves. They were false memories implanted into our heads, lies, deception and worthless for it. [His tone up until that last sentence was flat and matter of fact. The last sentence sounded verging on furious, but it drops back again.] Luigi, I hope you're well and I did not hurt you severely. We must suffer for the sins of those falsities, unfortunately.

I imagine my word does not count for much, but do not beat yourselves up over decisions made outside of your control.

[Private to Shura]

Where are you? I... well, I got a sword to most of my left side, so I can't really come looking if you need help.

There's... a few things I'd like to talk about soon.

[Private to Cissie and Hayley]

I know it doesn't count for much as it wasn't exactly my choice, but... I'm sorry I allowed that to happen to you both. I'm not sure I was a very good governor or father, but... yes, that wasn't my choice.

[Private to Morgana]

Events seem to conspire in the weirdest ways for us both. I... well, don't read anything into it, please. I'm married and it is only circumstances.

((ooc: I was gonna update the other one, but this seemed easier. This is posted about six/seven hours after the first one. Maxim was asleep on Shura and Amy's sofa, if they want to have spotted/poked/etc him.))
