as Kirsty mentioned in her LJ post a few of us went through to Glasgow today, we wandered about the German market and Kirsty bought a few things, but i didn't see anything that particularly inspired me, i think trying to decide what to get someone as a christmas present is one of the most difficult things to do at the best of times, but trying to work out what to buy for people that i don't know that well such as Kirsty's parents is very difficult. In the half dozen or so times i've met Kirsty's dad, i have garnered that he enjoys playing the guitar and golf, and neither of those things really help in picking out a present. I know even less about Kirsty's mother who is generally too busy fussing over her only daughter whenever i see her for her to be compiling a wish list, i'm very tempted to stick Kirsty's present into something like amazon and buy whatever the "customer's who liked this also bought" comes up as.
