I haven't updated in a while, Kirsty has covered most things like our trip to Bill Bailey, and such. I've started actually working for Sky and almost all of my training was obsolete as I work for Sky's telephone service waiting for a phone call (on my first day there were 9 calls in 4 hours) and then clicking a button which means the customer doesn't pay for their phone calls. The 3 days on, 3 days off aspect is good, but the 11 hours of tedium with co-workers who discuss the particular merits of various "happy hardcore" albums they want to buy. Rather irritatingly the people I spent two weeks training with are all working their shifts on the 3 days off I have, meaning I wont see them unless I go in for overtime. However positions have come up with the US Embassy so I've asked my boss to put me in for it so I can start flooding America with poor Europeans desperate to breathe free.
In other news we were watching Scrubs the other night and there was a competition during the advert to win the complete OC DVD box set, the question was:
What does OC stand for?
a) Olive County
b) Orange County
c) Ostrich County
to which Kirsty said "it would be a much better show if they were all ostriches!"
She seems to think that they are currently all oranges.
Also I was explaining to my mother that with the current maths regarding the football, if Scotland and Russia both win their next game then Scotland qualify, England don't, and Scotland move into the top 10 European making it much easier for them to get into the world cup, and she said "Did England not lose to Barcelona?"
