A death in the family
My grandmother is dead. She died last night, it was sudden and we do not know why.
My grandmother was diagnosed with alzheimer's about 2 years ago or so and we had all expected a long drawn out death first of herself and then of her body, instead last night she passed away suddenly and without warning.
I have not talked with her in over a year. She being unable to visit her family here and not wanting us to all come over and visit her since she had to sell her house and move into an assisted living home. I never had a chance to say good bye, no one thought it would happen so soon.
