Ohwhoaohwhoa

I contacted Meg Urry yesterday about doing high-energy astro research this summer. I really can't think of a better way to spend summer break than to hang out at Yale doing the work I love.

Speaking of science, I think someone at Yale has a sick sense of humor. To get to classes and labs, all of the science students have to walk up a giant slope cleverly dubbed "Science Hill." These classes begin no later than non-science classes, so all we can do is scamper up as fast as we can and pray that the professor will be late as well. I wouldn't be surprised if someone, somewhere were laughing while watching us struggle to get to class on time with pained expressions on our faces and obscenely heavy textbooks in our arms.

Then again, the exercise isn't such a bad thing, I suppose.

My schedule has finally settled into a regular routine, which is both good and bad. It's good because I don't feel like I have to be everywhere and do everything at once anymore, but it's bad because it means that I've stopped being amazed by every aspect of Yale. Of course, that's not to say that nothing here surprises me anymore. In fact, just yesterday I found out that my suitemate is the grandson of Robert Penn Warren. Ridiculous.

I still haven't figured out what to do with the huge blocks of free time that I have on Tuesdays and Thursdays. La la la. I think I will finish my post-lab. Bye bye.
