All quiet on the western front

Only, not really.

Work wise I'm bored out of my brain. There isn't enough to do for most of us. We're just scrabbling around for work to make us look busy.

I have been exercising (exorcising? Bit of both really) my inner editor by updating/rewriting a user guide. I'm quite enjoying using Track Changes to see what I've done. I figure formatting and numbering changes don't need to be seen so that lost a lot of red. Apart from that (tracking changes) I am bored out of my mind with rereading the same passages.

Fingers crossed this will wear my editor out in time for NaNo. I have a plot! It is one that can be disjointed and all over the place! It will be easy to prompt from Plot Generators! I have a (probably too large) cast of characters I can use (beginning to be) fleshed out with the use of a questionnaire! Once I've got the people mapped out I will have no excuses

Real life has been busy. Had a big family dinner with all the local aunts, uncles and grandparents yesterday. Did babysitting all weekend which involved movies (Bolt and Up), Legoland and Wii-ing. Could do with a break from it all. Also, Baby sister returns tomorrow for birthday celebrations at end of week.

Bolt - better than I expected. Mittens was awesome.
Up - I wasn't too sure what to expect, but I liked it. I feel very old though because I spent most of the movie taking Mr Friedrickson's side. But I loved Dug! And the cone of shame! Squirrel! Pretty much I loved everything about the dogs.
