(no subject)
So at Sally's command (notice how everything must be demanded by Sally first before I'll do anything productive?) I'm updating my LJ.. until Bobby shows up at my house to pick me up for tonight.
Well, what's there to say. College apps are done with..even though I didn't really have much to do in the first place. I'm sorry but I highly doubt I would survive a week anywhere except in southern Cali.. the weather's too amazing here.. and so I limited myself to applying only to a few UC's. Freaks like hardcopy spent almost $1000.. I spent less than $300. =)
Thanksgiving & Black Friday (aka day after Thanksgiving) were awesome. I called home after school on Wednesday to see if my mom could come get me (because I am a bum to the max and dont have my license yet. but then again, do you REALLY want another Asian female driver on the road?) and she replies in an as-a-matter-of-fact tone of voice, "I'm on my way to Vegas with your brother, sister and sister-in-law."
WHAT?!
Yeah. That's right. They ABANDONED ME. So Wednesday night, I went to Tiffany's house, she drove us over to Nick's house and we barbequed. Yeah..we barbequed. Women are not useless kthx. And it turned out absolutely AMAZING. =)
So that night I went home and the next day I went over to hardcopy's house around 3pm and we hung out for the first time in 3 months. We picture whored. She has yet to send me the other photos other than:
Kristen and her ex-bf Michael picked me up after Sally and I finished grubbing on Turkey. Her daddy's carving instructions were cutesy. haha. =) So Kristen Michael and I headed over to her grandparents' house where we were mobbed by little kids everywhere. I love kids. We stayed there till 11pm after we played Hold 'Em for a couple of hours. We went back to her house, talked till about 2am and fell asleep.
Woke up around 730am and got ready (slowly but surely) and (eventually) ended up at South Coast Plaza at 9. We shopped for only 3 hours but we got so much more accomplished than other days when we shop for 7-8 hours on end!
We spent $80 at Victoria's Secret and we got the free totebag with goodies inside. I got the totebag and Heavenly scent/lotion which I absolutely love and actually thought of buying before I realized it was free with the tote! She got the other stuff. Then we went to Nordstrom and I bought three tops. A simple black long tank, a simple long teal wifebeater and the cutest lace overshirt thing in the world! I'll take a photo of it soon.
Then we went to American Eagle and I bought a pair of jeans and a shirt that says "GIVE LOVE" and used my $40 giftcard on matching earrings and necklace! =)
