Tonight i held my weeping sister in my arms
And felt the helplessness one feels when they cant do shit
I feel like my heart is the one that is breaking
And i wasn't even the one to take the hit
She said she knows he is sorry
She says she knows that he has changed
She also said he told her
That he'd never cheat again
Its hard to believe he did it
No one ever thought he would
Her friends all tell her to forget him
She says she wishes she could
He said he didn't know what he was doing
But she knows damn well he did
She even let him know it
Saying "you are nothing but a kid"
Now she is left heart broken
Crying in her room
While i try to pick up the pieces
Try to pull her out of this gloom
I kiss her goodnight
And tuck her into bed
Thinking there is nothing i can say
That hasn't already been said
