I'm totally sucking with the actual responses to comments... They're all sitting in my Inbox (or, really, my lj/fanfic folder in my email), Flagged. I shall endeavour to reply to them all after this post. :)
Got a text message a couple hours ago. My best friend from high school, Kellie, messaged me. Her and her bf just bought a house!!!! YAY!!!! Go her! :)
Decided to go around to my Dad's place. Managed to get a free meal! Yay! As this was my ultimate goal, may I repeat my, YAY! \o/
Having a mini Quarter-Life crisis of sorts. Mostly fixated on the whole feeling-alone thing. Tell me something you like about me? Please? It's one week 'til I'm 25. *sigh* I'm guesstimating a dozen people will turn up.
Oh! Hey, does anyone know what book I'm talking about here... I think it's by a male Australian Young Adult Book writer. Story of two people communicating through letters. I think the inmate, possibly both of them, are females. And I cannot remember much more than this. Do you know which book I'm talking about? I had wanted to say it was by Morris Gleitzman, but it's not listed on his Wiki page (I don't remember what it was called, but think I'd remember the title). Also, I think it was someone who wrote older-reader books.
Never mind the above, I found it. Was a
John Marsden book. Letters From the Inside. Has anyone else read this book? Have you opinions on it? Did you like how it was written - with just letters between two people?
You know what I found out looking for that book? The
Tomorrow Series is to become a movie (or more?)! How awesome. I really should re-read them all. And possibly the Ellie Chronicles for closure.
Fallen stupidly behind on my OCD tagging of
sn_slash. I'd feel guilty about this were I not so focussed on how I want to get uni work done.
Dammit! Why must I feel so lousy about it almost being my BIRTHDAY?! :(
Uploaded more pics of Frances! Check out my Facebook. :D
Last night went around to friends' to celebrate Talk Like a Pirate Day. Wade was flirting with me again. lol Must have not gotten some action in a while again... Had a good enough time, though! Though I realised around 12:30 or so that the reason I was SO tired was it was so late... *peers at clock and giggles*
NB: Subject title from a poem I wrote many years ago.
