well.
I'm here in the UK library. I've searched interests for FPS before but never came across anything, only First Person Shooter communities. I saw this advertised in commons the other day and figured I'd check it out.
Competition was yesterday, but you all knew that since you're probably here.
I'm a senior individual packet competitor from AZ. I'm having fun at IC, though I haven't met many people because I'm here with just my coach and not a team. I'm a little disappointed about that. This is my fourth IC, I've been to Georgia, Connecticuit, and I was here last year. I've never placed though :( I love FPS, I've been doing it since grade school and hope to go college in a state that has a program so I can evaluate.
I thought that the fuzzy yesterday was so narrow (I think it's ok to mention this since competition has already happened).
I always feel bad for the kids who come to IC and their coaches are dead set on going home with a trophy. My coach is a wonderful woman who is just proud of me for coming this far and for that I am grateful. I think that making it to IC is an accomplishment in itself. I see these rabid coaches who are so strict with their students about winning and I can't imagine that this is any fun for them. Sometimes this gets too competitive for my liking.
Anyways, good luck to everyone here, hopefully you'll be on stage tomorrow.
