my date went well =)
found out his birthday is the 29th of june, and that he was supposed to be born on july 14th [my birthday]
we talked and it was nice
our waitress was isabel...lol like one of my favorite babysitters [she was one of the kids of my daycare when i was younger]
and i recognized her and vinny was sure she kept looking at me when she asked how "we" were doing
and after we payed...or, after vinny payed, cuz he wouldnt let me even look at the check and i begged him to let me tip but he wouldn't [what a sweetheart =p] she was like "are you veronica?" and i was like yes! so we chatted for a minute i was like thats so cool that she really did remember me, and she remembered my name from all those years ago.

so anyway, at the beginning she brought over this scavenger hunt thing and asked if we had anything on it
and i felt bad cuz i didnt have anything on me, i took out everything so i could do some laundry this morning
but he had a library card and a student i.d. so that gave her two checks
so the superior i guess boss lady came over to see them cuz i guess this is a big deal or something
and she gave us a card for a free dessert "the next time we come"
and so he wanted to give it to me but i was like your student id, your library card, you take it
so he's like alright, then the next time we come we can get dessert...[not that we can't this time im just sayin...=ramble]
but yea, i was like ooh next time
so while we were leaving he mentioned "doing this again sometime" or something to that effect if i was "up for it"
and so i was like yea i'd be up for it
and hes like well thats good, thats great
so yea
im really happy =]
he's so sweet
and im not even going out with the kid, and pretty much all my family knows
which is really different
and so i dont know what his intentions are
and if it realy was a date, which i'm assuming it was because it was just the two of us, he picked me up and drove me home, he payed, and met my parents first and so on and so forth

but yea, so i talked to ken before i left
and he was like if he asks you to prom, you're going with him
there was a whole conversation about it and i felt really bad so i said we'll see...cuz i dont want to like back out on him
but if things go well and i start seeing vinny more often and he asks me, at least i know that i have the freedom to go with him, not that i couldnt before, but i would have felt bad and it makes me feel kinda bad that ken is so nice and i feel like im treating him badly, but it was really nice of him to come up with that out of the blue
well, not the blue
but yea, whatever
i guess its good to get the family thing out of the way before i get attached? idk
we'll see how things pan out
oh, and i didnt mention that he called me this morning when my mom and sister went to the softball field and my dad was at work
so i had to call and ask my mom who was very distracted so it was really hard
and then i had to give him directions
he said they were very good directions
lol
and that he went for a test run earlier in the day
so that he wouldnt get lost and get nervous because he was lost and such
