Hey there kids. I am thinking of going to FPC in the fall as a freshmen. I've been accepted and given a hefty amount of money and it's on my top two and I am working on finalizing my decisions soon but I would like to hear about it from you guys. How is the Biology program? Anything to do in town? Any insight is appreciated. :)

because the school is so small there is usually lots of drama cause your basically stuck with eachother in the middle of the woods (literally) but i would suggest enjoying your freshmen year and staying alot because after freshmen year they break you up cause sophmore houseing is EVERYWHERE, junior housing is the apartments and the senior houseing you get moved down the street to the townhouses. The RAs are usually bitches your freshmen year but they loosen up junior year, and senior year your barely bothered down at lakeview except on the weekends when Rindge P.D. come by cause they have nothing better to do.

I loved freshmen year but after that it never was the same, once you get comfortable here you sorta fall into a routine and things get old very quick. I found myself going home alot after freshmen year just because alot of people drop out/transfer/graduate. I dont know what other colleges are like but I can tell ya FPC is definetly unique but you'll have alot of fun here once you fall into your own niche.

parking is horrible, they isnt enough spots for everyone and they fine you up the ass for parking illegally. The bubble is ok, its usually packed all day with students and people from the local town but they really need to expand the workout area, and there isnt even locker-rooms for changing.

I would suggest if you came here to join a club to meet people, the cafe is really the only place where everyone socially comes together on a daily basis. The food is decent, i know on other campuses (URI etc) they have restaurants right on campus but the school only uses Sodexho services.. which kinda blows. Theres no frat or sorority houses.. the closest thing to that would probably be lakeview where the big parties happen.

theres alot i would change about this school, but it definetly makes it up for the friends I met..
