To be fair, before I dropped out of uni, I did encounter enough of the LoonyLeft to get a bit sick of their antics, but on the whole they were mostly pacifists and left me alone. Not to mention that a lot of the stuff they talked about was absolute incorrect crap. It didn't particularly do much to make me dislike the left, as I certainly support a lot of leftist ideals. But it's incredibly unfair for people to not be allowed to believe or practice their own religion, and I would strongly defend the right for someone to have their own religious beliefs, be they atheistic, Islam or Catholic.
It's just the way it is. People from both the far-right and far left are as stupid, intolerant and ridiculously short-sighted. Hence why I love where I am, where everything fits nicely into a moderate secular centrist mindset.
ps. 'It Was All on Account of the Little Russian Girl' rocks a whole lot of face. You need to write more femmeslash.
pps. I have waited many long months for your unfavourable review of 'Birthday Girl'. I have wept, gnashed my teeth, and binged on sticks of butter. Not really, but know you how it goes. I'd love you to wing it my way some time.
By 'where I am', I was referring to the political environment of my nation and particular socio-economic group, as opposed to my own political leanings, which are pretty much concurrent, if only slightly more theological.
I mean I don't remember "Birthday Girl", though I have a very very vague negative feeling about the title. Googling FA did not work either. If you want more femmeslash from me, you need go no further than this LJ - how does Buffy and Willow in bed strike you?
To some level, not too well, seeing as I've barely seen an episode of Buffy in my entire life.
I know, I disappoint my parents too.
But should I have the time within the next few weeks, I shall seek your work out. I read the first chapter of the Cleo Malfoy series, of which I owe you a review anyway, and I do hope to read more.
