An example of how the police are still a day late and a dollar short
Just saw this on TV: the police arrive on the set of mass looting in Clapham High St, where every shop has been looted. They order the crowd to disperse. Surely they should have tried to hold the looters instead of effectively telling them to go home? - WITH the loot?
