Har EUR now been completely swallowed up by the conurbation? I have memories - close to thirty years ago, mind you - of a Giorgio-di-Chirico-like Brave New City (and yes, I know it was Mussolini who had it built), strangely deserted and beautiful. The place I remember might not have suffered so much from one day of Formula One madness.

But, yes, ignoring Monza and Imola? Who ARE these people without memory?

Yes, EUR has in fact been surrounded by residential quarters. In fact, the whole city is growing seaward along the parallel axes of Via Cristoforo Colombo, Via del mare and the Ostia train line (which has been excellently renovated not so long ago and now works well and comfortably).
