I think it's been about five years since I last commented on a TV program, apart from the odd snark here and there. But tonight's Strictly Come Dancing semi-final was absolutely the best I have ever seen. There was not one bad step in all the routines, and the Darcey Bussell guest spot was just the icing on the cake. I had never seen a studio audience come to their feet applauding, I saw it tonight - twice. Wonderful. I still regret the start for more than one reason, but this series is having a fabulous ending.
