Dream
We're high school age. There are details, like the kind of house my family has just moved into. I convinced Aileen to go with me to 1971 on some mad vengeance mission. Preparations to leave: a notebook, a pen, knitting needles and yarn (left behind in a school locker by accident when I swap one notebook for another), money. We get there and it's this weird fantasy world, not actually 1971. She buys yarn and knitting needles, but the yarn I want is too expensive, and I have no needles. We get hassled by belligerent locals, and I am saved by a woman who sacrifices herself to do it. Aileen's savior is an adorable guy who lets her fight her own battle (she wins). Adorable Guy has a companion who resents me for the death of the other woman. I explain why we are there, and AG decides he will take care of us. He gives me a position in his group, and the next day I say I will go buy some cheap yarn, as I have chopsticks in my bag and can use them to knit with. Everyone (except that random girl) is pleased with the situation.
