I get back from my semi-annual haircut to see a new message in my UR inbox. A Facebook friends request from someone named Boris. Boris? What the heck? I only know one person named Boris, and I've never actually met him. He's a guy on one of those morning radio shows. So I go to Facebook and check him out. He goes to Stanford, gives no indication of where he is from... is a math/physics guy. Ooh.. so maybe the RIPS people finally made the lists of who goes to what team! (RIPS is the acronym for the REU I'm in.) I go to the RIPS website... nada. Check my inbox... nada. But recently I made the switch to Thunderbird, so maybe something got sent to my junk box by mistake? Yes. Yes, it did.

I'm on a team with three other people: a guy from Stanford (the mysterious Boris - he works quickly), a guy from UCLA, and a guy who goes to school at Oxford and is from Poland. The sponsor for whom we will be working? Los Alamos National Laboratory. Pretty cool, eh?

On a completely different note: Does anybody know if there is possibly a Windows 95 emulator available for Macs? Because my brother gave me his copy of Starship Titanic, and I really want to play it.
