I had a wonderfully vivid dream last night.

First I was eating dinner with my parents, who were visiting me at UR for an unknown reason. We talked for a while and they mentioned how they were sad they wouldn't be able to see me as one of the leads in the musical (42nd Street, it turned out to be). After they dropped me off at campus I walked around for a while, and then encountered the Take 5 guy who took me on a date (I think) and a girl who called herself Kayla (but who definitely was not the Kayla I know). In dream world, things with Take 5 Guy went differently, and we were a couple. He also apologized and said he would not be able to see me in 42nd Street, gave me a kiss, and then went off with Kayla. I highly suspected he was cheating on me with her. Then I went off to do my musical do. Turns out, the performance was that night. It was odd; the actors were also most of the audience. We sat in the auditorium (which looked more like Hoyt than like Strong) when we weren't on stage. None of the usual suspects were in the musical with me - it was all people from home. Jon was there, Aileen, Joe, I think Steve, and at least one of the Karen/Erin/Sarah combo, plus a lot of other people I can't remember. Jon was stoned out of his mind, and everyone kept loudly making inappropriate comments when they weren't on stage. Somehow we got through it, and we all went up to take our final bows. (At this point, someone shouted out how much quicker it was this time around, now that Mrs. Carver wasn't in charge of things. Why she, the chorus teacher and the one who directed all the musicals in high school, wasn't in charge of a musical put on by a bunch of people from high school, I'll never know.) I nearly screwed it all up at the end by not knowing where I was supposed to be. Then we went to change back into normal clothes, and we were suddenly in the band/chorus rooms from high school. I had three paper towel tubes of varying length that were all very flimsy, and Aileen was trying to comfort me. I think I was very upset that Take 5 Guy and my parents had not shown up. The musical was not actually 42nd Street, by the way... but it was called that in my dream. It was a much, much weirder musical than 42nd Street.

At that point, things got a little hazy, and I think I woke up soon after, very confused.
