choking on reality
I watched choke yesterday.
And in it, the main character, Vincent, visits his mother with alzheimer's.
When he does this she only knows it's him a rare amount of the time.
All the other times she talks to him as if she's one of her old friends.
And at one point she says to him "I don't think there will be anyone who loves him after I die."
or something along those lines.
As much as I hate to say it, that line hit home for me.
hardcore.
and as much as I hope it's not true.
one day when my mom's gone...
it will be.
