Thank you for the music!
Went to see Mamma Mia! yesterday afternoon with my not-so-little anymore cousin and her mum. Haha just after the first song is sung, Caroline leans over to me and says "Is this a musical?! I hate musicals!". Aw bless her 12 year old heart.
I thought it was pretty good, better than Across The Universe. And... Colin Firth... mmm, Pierce Brosnan's not bad either, bad singer though. And Meryl Streep was awesome as the slutty spinster lol. The end was great albeit a bit rushed... Wet!Colin Firth teehee...
Eddie's 20th later on last night, ice skating! The shoes were very, very painful, since they were a size too small and they ran out of the size up. And there were way too many people there. But it was still fun! Trying not to fall over and such. And of course there was this one figure skater show-off/loser.
Then we went to the Little Peninsula and I got way too drunk on $8 cocktails. Had a really good mojito there :) Carol and I tried to get the last train home but it was delayed for over an hour!! #*&$@! So we had to taxi it and it costed... $75.20!!! &$^#&! We'll I think it was $68 something but I only had $60 cash on me so had to pay it on card with the service fee on top! That sucked!
It was a great night nonetheless.
Ahaha, I got home at about 2.30am, still a bit tipsy and was like "Happy birthday Mummy!!! Do you want your present now? Now? Now???!" Well, she did. I think she liked it. I got a photo of my parents and I in Ha Long Bay blown up and put in a frame.
Anyway, on a completely different issue: I joined up to this Meetup site because there's this 'Shyness and Anxiety' group and they arrange meetings around Melbourne. I was considering going... but how shy is shy? And how isolated is isolated? I need a more specific group... like for people without confidence or self-esteem or who are inarticulate and bad conversationalists. Hm, yeah.
