I hate uni!
I cannot find any motivation to do my gazillion (3) essays. So here I am procrastinating instead.
Um, so I had my 20th Bday birthday-thing with the family on the weekend. That was fun :) Laura got me some BodyShop stuffs and Caroline got me Darren Hayes' Too Close For Comfort DVD :D Also got some money for my shrinking bank account. We played SingStar and had too much sugar etcetera etcetera and watched Idol and Rove (well, I did anyway).
It's surprising how immature myself and still other uni students can be. We studied Courbet the artist today in my French Lit-ty-like class. It was just trying-to-bite-my-tongue-so-I-won't-laugh funny. I blame it on the other students because they were all stifling too - Giggaloop anyone? Specifically Courbet's 'Woman with a Parrot', 'Sleep' and 'The Origin Of The World' (which is incidently the only one I remember seeing at the Musée d'Orsay). And my tutor (re: Sleep) says something like "I emphasise a male patron because it shows that...*supposedly* *I'm NOT sure* they enjoy...". So immature.
Caught up with Soph for a bit then headed home which takes forever as usual. Stopped by at Eastland and bought Darren Hayes' Big Night In DVD lol which is really good. The best music dvd I have I think. V. unique.
I finished watching Season 3 of Lost. ohmegod. I so can't wait till 2010 when we find out everything. It had so better be a satisfying ending. People would like riot if it weren't I reckon.
I haven't found any good fanfics to read lately...disappointed.
This LJ is in desperate need for a make-over. It'll either be Europe (if I cbf sorting through my photos for the billionth time) or Darren Hayes (phase...) or maybe Paolo Nutini but that'll all be after I do more essays of course. I still also need to do my scrapbook...
In other news, I have found Jaffa Cakes! Joy! Joy! In the Safeway international food section. Not legit McVitie's Jaffa Cakes...but they taste good anyway. Also found in that section are Dutch STROOPWAFELS! Happiness! Joy! I <3 them. AND in the biscuit aisle we actually do have McVitie's Choc Digestives :D No 'Plain Chocolate' ones though which are the best. I'm running out of my Cailler chocolate :( So sad. I've seen some Côte d'Or stuff but no Cailler yet.
OK...essays....
