Spending shitloads
After spending my day yesterday in Manchester doing f-all (but finishing Season 2 of QaF), I woke up way way too early this morning, disturbing the French dude sleeping in the dorm.
I have got THE most annoying cough. The ones that just tickle your throat and force you to let out lots of mini-coughs. I always try to hold it, especially when getting to sleep but that just makes it worst.
Got my bloody door key fixed as I was getting locked out all the time and omg the showers here are so….unconventional. They have almost clear, frosted doors. >.< The hostel doesn’t seem to be busy though, so that’s alright.
So I went shopping this morning. And I bought so much…stuff. Went to TKMaxx…again. Love that store. They sell designer clothes at at least 60% off retail. They usually have a lot of Calvin Klein, Ralph Laurent, FCUK, Ben Sherman, Hooch and Bench - most under $50! And I’ve realised that I’ve visited at least one HMV and Starbucks in every city I’ve visited so far (London, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Manchester). Anyway, at TKMaxx, I got a blazer and a Superdry shirt.
Then I went to Debenhams…why didn’t I give this store a chance in London?? (Because the logo design is boring) It is actually really good. More cheap designer stuff. Not as cheap as TK but there’s more in season stuff. I got a satchel and Ben Sherman jeans (for about $65).
More shopping.
Bought my ticket to WILL YOUNG in THE VORTEX for next Wednesday. SO excited. I think I have front row…that’s what I think the ticketman said anyway. Nothing good better be happening that night (in Liverpool)! >.<
Went to book my ticket to Liverpool for Sunday. YAY. So can’t wait till I can actually UNPACK my suitcase!
Then I went back because the bags were so heavy. It was here I realised that the taxi man duped me when taking me back to the hostel >.< Grr.
Haha, and then, thank-god for wearing my Kylie shirt today. As it caught the attention of the new guy in my dorm who, believe it or not, is seeing Kylie on the weekend. LOL. Anyway, told him all my embarrassing musical tastes haha and yeah spoke to the French guy too who’s looking for a job. I entered a newspaper competition to win Kylie tickets haha. You never know.
There are stairs at this hostel. It is going to be a major major pain getting my luggage down them. >.< Argh!
